ONLINE RESOURCES

The IRC maintains access to the following on-line resources to respond to your information needs:

Factiva accesses over 8,000 publications in 22 languages, including Dow Jones, Reuters and Associated Press newswires, as well as data on 20,000 companies.

Public Diplomacy Query is maintained by the Department of State, and provides material on U.S. foreign policy and the U.S. Department of State, including full texts of speeches by U.S. government officials and fact sheets.

Columbia International Affairs Online is the most comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs. It publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 onward that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, proceedings from conferences, books, journals and policy briefs.

LexisNexis offers on-line full-text access to U.S. federal and state legislation and regulations, treaties, and legal periodicals (United States Code Service, United States Public Laws, Code of Federal Regulations and the Federal Register). Also included are full-text articles from over 1,000 newspapers, wire services, and news and business magazines.

InfoTrac® OneFile is a one-stop source for news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics: business, computers, current events, economics, education, environmental issues, health care, hobbies, humanities, law, literature and art, politics, science, social science, sports, technology and many general interest topics.

Biography Resource Center combines biographies from respected Gale Group sources. It also includes full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals.

ProQuest provides access to full-text or abstracts of articles from over 5,000 journals, periodicals and newspapers, including a broad range of topics from art and entertainment to business and public policy. Many are full-text, full-image format.

Leadership Directories provides online access to directories of the Congress, federal, state and municipal government, law firms, NGOs, judicial, media and associations.

The Foundation Directory On-Line searches 10,000 largest U.S. foundations and over 150,000 grants.
