PRESS RELEASE
February 21, 2007
The Labor Market Project (LMP) of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) invites media to the presentation of a new website www.KakviDaStanem.bg – an interactive portal to help young people find and shape their future careers.
USAID/Bulgaria Mission Director Michael Fritz will participate in a February 22 (Thursday) press conference presenting the launch. The press conference will start at 16:00h at the Matti – D Hall, NDK. The website is designed to assist young people in making successful and informed career choices and thus facilitate their entry into the labor market.
This is the last initiative of LMP, which closes its successful 3-year program geared at improving collaboration among young people, the educational system and businesses.
LMP will also organize the first national conference of professional career consultants in Bulgarian education, which will take place on February 21 and 22. A total of 120 career consultants from secondary, vocational and university education have been trained in the international certification program Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) that the LMP introduced in Bulgaria.
