Employment-Based Immigrant Visa

Employment-based immigrant visas are issued only to people on whose behalf a petition has been approved by the new Bureau of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS: formerly INS).

A qualified organization must file the petition with USCIS.
