CAO Announces American Films at 23rd Kinomania Film Festival

CAO Sherry Keneson-Hall helped kick-off the 23rd Annual Kinomania Film Festival in Sofia on November 5th during the festival’s official press conference.  Keneson-Hall announced the nine U.S.  films supported by a grant from the U.S. Embassy  Embassy in Sofia.  These particular films showcase a wide variety of styles in American cinema.  There are both classic and contemporary musicals, independent films, dramas, comedies  as well as a documentary.
 
The U.S. Embassy has supported  this film festival for several years.  Kinomania is the oldest Bulgarian film festival and, prior to the fall of communism in 1989, was one of the only places to see foreign films (including American) in Bulgaria.
