U.S. Energy Expert Edward Chow Meets Bulgarian Energy Community
On October 5th and 6th, Edward Chow from the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C. visited Bulgaria at the invitation of the U.S. Embassy in Sofia and in support of the Government of Bulgaria’s request to hear from independent energy experts. Chow’s program in Sofia included meetings with senior Bulgarian government officials, a roundtable discussion on energy held at the parliament, meetings with representatives of the Bulgarian energy business, and a lecture at New Bulgarian University. On his final day in Bulgaria, Chow hosted a press conference at the American Corner at Sofia City Library where he answered questions about the prospects for the Bulgarian energy sector.
