Bulgaria joined the EU and is now a part of the world's largest trade relationship, between the U.S. and Europe.  Trade and investment by U.S. companies is growing rapidly, led by such American companies as AES, American Standard and Microsoft, creating new jobs and opportunities and making Bulgaria more competitive in the European market.
